Review: Palm needs to use Palm OS. Palm OS is the easy to use alternative to all the others; with zero crash and bug problems. Palm is signing the Palm funeral papers using a Microsoft Operating System.

Review: I hope Palm finally introduces a product that works as advertised. The Treo 650 I'm now using has a number of issues such as frequent stalls requiring re-starts and spotty Bluetooth connectivity with my headset. Also, I'm off to visit Japan and will not be able to use my Treo there as it doesn't support the 3G network. Not what I expect from the most expensive smart phone on the market.

Review: Colligan has no idea how people buy phones. If Palm only sold the Palm OS it would have the smart phone market, just like RIM. Having an operating system that people can only use on your device is the road to success, just like Apple and RIM. Now that people see other Windows Mobile devices including the Q, we can just change without any problem. We no longer have to wait to see what Palm will release in the future...which they are doing a bad job at. Look at the Treo 700w and Treo 700wx: People don't like to spend a few hundred dollars and then see a better device a few weeks later.

Review: Ed Colligan has no idea how the phone market works. If people don't see new devices from Palm, they just buy something else, like the Q or Pearl. The only way Treo had an edge above other devices was the Palm OS.
