Review: I used chemistry.com and one person had a restraining order against him and the other one was a scam asking me for money.

Review: I'm not sure I'd go so far as to claim that couples need his n' her serotonin levels to be compatible, but I know from working at IntellectConnect.com that intellect can certainly play a strong role in attracting people.

Review: I agree with Helen Fisher that to make a date successful it is good to raise the chances. Chemistry is key. But another key element is to feel good about oneself, have something interesting to talk about, make it a fun date. That's why I keep myself challenged with services like Agogus.com. My dates are not always successful but at least always a good entertaining moment.

Review: I joined when they first came online. Not a single one of their matches proved out. For the last couple of months they can't even produce a new match. I think it's time to do a follow-up on how Chemistry.com has augered in the cyber world. They're a pointless site.

Review: I signed up a couple weeks ago for Chemistry.com. Have been very frustrated that none of the 13 or 14 men I said I was interested in have responded, even to say "not interested". When I asked them about it, I got canned, useless responses like "it's hard to say why your match hasn't responded." Today I found out what's really going on. I got a duplicate match -- the very same guy who'd been in my 'active list' for 10 days without response (same picture, same name, different logon ID!!) is also a new match! They are matching members to people who are no longer active and/or no longer members.

Review: I kind of agree about the profile. I think mine got my main category right but was way off on some of the attributes. It had me almost totally introverted and disagreeable, which I know isn't true! I wonder if it's turning off people who look at it, and there doesn't seem to be any way to revisit the questions the profile comes from.

Review: I became a member by default of being a match member. I do not agree with the chemisty profile I received after answering all the questions. It does not in any way represent who I am. I have received some e-mail from members. This service has been complimentry until tonight. I received an e-mail but without warning I must pay $50 to see this e-mail. I am very disappointed and would not recomend this site. It is trying to emulate e-harmony. Despite that it is not a good service and is poorly set up.

Review: Actually they DO mean ringfinger(2D) over index (4D). It also predicts sperm quality, flow etc and a lot of other biological traits.

Review: There are a few of us with unusual characteristics such as myself. On one hand my index finger is much longer than my ring finger, on the other hand they are closer to the same, and not surprisingly, I tend to be amongst the few who can switch from left brain to right brain dominance at will. I generally find the "pick an answer" choices on match sites to be totally unsatisfactory. Let's hope this new approach has better options for the single Leonardo DaVincis out there.
