Review: I've had a go700 since July: I've taken about 2000 miles worth of trips where my TomTom has led the way. I can only think of one time that it let me down: when I came to an intersection, I was told to go right when I should have gone left. My biggest problems have been with the CD and my computer and getting answers from TomTom on how to solve them.

Review: I have and use a 510. Outstanding performance! Takes getting use to the meaning of commands. Really cuts down on frustrating directions at the "7-Eleven". Men really don't need to ask for directions any longer.

Review: I have a TomTom510 and took it all the way to Canada without any problems. The only problem I had was trying to locate custom US POIs for my TomTom geared towards the US. I, however just, recently found a forum that was started by two friends in Calif. that gave third party support for TomTom and US POIs for free, and now I have no more complaints. =) (Oh, btw, the site is www.tomtomforums.com for anyone that owns a TT in the US and want some free POIs and great bunch of people to talk about our TTs with).

Review: I purchased my TomTom GO910 in July of this year. I am absolutely amazed at how well this unit works. I've only been on one long trip and it worked flawlessly. My only problem with TomTom is getting accessories for this unit on the market. I have two vehicles and would like to purchase an additional cardock for my second vehicle, but no one has it in stock. Great device, not so great support.

Review: I have owned a TomTom 700 for over a year. The suction cup mount broke and damaged my wife's dash area. The unit is too bulky and in rough road conditions bounces around to much. I have looked at many nav systems and they all work about the same. But beware, if you get a newer unit with a non glare screen and wear polorized sun glasses, you will have a hard time with the screen. Nav system have poor route nav. With traditional GPS units, you can program a route with waypoints. With my Garmin 46C I can create my route on my computer and load it to the GPS. The GPS displays travel info with the next waypoint and final destination on the screen. My 770 does not do this. Last night, my wife and I were traveling in a strange area and the 700 locked up. If we had had a paper clip in her car we could have reset the device.

Review: Bought a Tomtom GO 910 here in Europe just before the summer holidays with the intention of using it during and after the holiday period. The 910 is their top of the line and cost approx. 700 euros. Now, the actual unit itself is superb in terms of style and functionality, however the day before our departure the 'cardock' broke (allows you to fix it to your windscreen). I immediately contacted their customer service dept. and they indicated that I wasn't the first! We are now 6 weeks down the road and still no replacement cardock. Excuses abound, like waiting for a new (and revised!) batch of cardocks before they can ship. Until they ship a new cardock, the thing is absolutely useless to me! Whtt defines a great company? Product and service. Why is it that so many companies now fall down so badly on the service front?

Review: Recent purchase of a cradle and software for my Tungsten Palm Pilot has been a great reward. I still have my PDA and I can readily use it as a navigation device.
Loading maps and use are quite easy and TomTom has been delightfully helpful when called upon for tech advice. If their free-standing units are as good as this, the buyer will be most happy!

Price points for these units need to start at no more than $250.

Review: I bought a TomTom GO 300 last Christmas, and while I think it is a remarkable piece of technology, the maps are several years out of date.
I've complained about it to TomTom and the company responded months later by crying about how hard it was to keep their maps up to date, and how in the 21st Century, they have to send out people to drive each new route and verify the info they get from their map suppliers.
