Review: One of my friends forwarded this page to me.Obviously it makes sense to compile such a list but some things disppointed me is that it lacked more data. I don't know how they listed this, by stock value, market share, net income, domestic consumer recognition, margin? In my opinion there are more outstanding giants better than the ones in the list.

Review: I am surprised to see Haier is not in the top 20 brands. Haier is probably the only major Chinese brand you can see in U.S. stores.

Review: Something must be wrong with this ranking. It is funny to see that: ZTE is in the top list, while Huawei is NOT; China Construction Bank is in the list while Industrial and Commercial Bank of China is NOT; Vanke and Gree are in the list while Haier, Changhong, Konka...are NOT; For other, such as BaoSteel, SMIC, China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC), China State Construction International, China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC)...... are much bigger, much more involved in international business and most important, much more famous.

Review: I am Chinese. This article makes sense and mirrors a real brand story in China. What I am worried about is that the majority of the 20 best brands come from state-owned companies, not private ones.

Review: After buying out PC sector of IBM, Lenovo is marketing its products all together with Thinkpad. Wherever you see Thinkpad, you will see Lenovo. This makes the China giant PC producer a truly global brand.

Review: I am pleased BW made a list of the outstanding Chinese brands. It seems some Chinese brands are awarded international recognition. Hope more brands come out in the future.

Review: I agree that Lenovo will raise higher recognition all over the world after the torch is lit. The Beijing Olympics 2008 will help the computer giant to take great leaps forward in the world and make it win in the competition with its rivals.

Review: Huawei is not a state-owned company, in fact the majority of the company is owned by its employees and executives.
