Review: I bought a replacement battery for my Toshiba laptop about a month ago from www.laptopsforless.com and it works great. Is there any reason to think that a replacement laptop battery would be any worse than the manufacturers?

Review: It was a matter of time this issue caught on to others. Would like to see a bit more on the reliability tests from HP though. Sounds too good to be true. Only time will tell, as it always seems to be the case. In regards to iPod, that's just too bad.

Review: Apple was sitting pretty for years because it didn't let their users share technology like PC users are allowed to do. Now with Intel on board we are going to see many problems with Macs--the same way PCs do. And I'm going to sit back and say I told you so! Oh and it's about time Apple gets what's comming to it. Apple steals everybody's toys and when they get caught, they shrug it off and hand over the money. Apple can only do this for so long. Dell rocks and I feel sorry for them.

Review: The reason that the new computers aren't recalled is they have a completely different battery technology in use. Instead of Lithium Ion batteries, the new computers use a Lithium polymer chemistry.

Review: I also love my MacBook. I recently switched over from Windows and don't think I'll go back. It's also my first laptop. I know they do run hot, but Apple has had a history of producing laptops with heat issues like this. They aren't very efficient at disbursing heat. I was already aware that the MacBook would run hot through consumer reviews. It still didn't curb me though. I'm looking into the recall. Apparently my battery was recalled, too.

Review: Why is nobody talking about the MacBook Pro batteries recall? https://support.apple.com/macbookpro15/batteryexchange/ Why insist on "none of which are current models?"

Review: It is clear that the author of this article is an Apple hater. I'm surprised he did no use the old FUD term "beleagured." By reading the article you could get the impression that Apple is in serious trouble, while in reality nothing could be further from the truth.

Review: Love my MacBook Pro but still wonder if some day apple will say "Oh yes that hot feeling you get when you use your laptop resting on your knees was a battery problem."

Review: Steve started to mock the Creative Zen in his early demos of the Apple IPod. Now it turns out Apple used their interface (of folders) in an illegal manner. Sometimes what we mock is the very thing that we are unconsciously trying to hurt, and therefore will eventually return and bite us in the back. He's still a very good man.
