Review: Great article...but this is my favorite...been around since 1999 waiting for ubiquitous broadband and robust computing performance to catch-up with their concept. Given their 8 years in this space, I believe they are the pioneers. http://tesla.liketelevision.com This site is so different in form, function and the sheer wealth of Intellectual Property contained within; it will set the benchmarked when acquired. Review: No one is mentioning Musicplustv.com, the leader in content creation and broacasting live television for 14 months. All their video content is original and they are giving artists a chance to televise their performances in real time worldwide. They are about to launch their online music store with thousands of artist tracks, so finally artists can make money off their music and get promoted. It's great that all these sites are being sold for millions but how about the content creators? When will they get paid?

Review: www.gofish.com was left off this list surprisingly. They are one of the leaders in this space based on traffic and product innovation, and frankly one of the most popular sites in this space...they also are doing branded programming with sponsors which seems to be very unique.

Review: Although the writer was limited to naming only "Five for the Money" private video companies, vMix should have been included as one of the five, especially because it has a proven business model and promotional partnerships with media brands such as Fox's Family Guy, Napoleon Dynamite and Bravo's Project Runway. vMix was founded in September 2005 with the intent to become more than an online video sharing Web site; vMix sets itself apart by powerfully combining branded content and licensed music to enable users to effortlessly create compelling video mash-ups and slide shows. The company is backed by top-tier venture capital firms and is managed by senior management executives from Vivendi / Universal Music Group, MP3.com, Fox Interactive, Virgin Records and Organic Online.

Review: IMHO Veoh is the best of the bunch. They have most of the features of YouTube, but don't restrict the length of the video that you can upload, and let you watch those videos in their original high quality, instead of just in flash. Hands down the way to go.
