Review: Alex, Alex, talk about being misinformed. You read one rogue post on some forum and you're convinced Apple is killing the Nano? Apple is obviously clearing the channels of old product before they introduce the new, upgraded Nano. Use some sense before you post, Chicken Little.

Review: Ok, well the thing about the Nano getting killed is a rumor as is all of this, but if you do some research you'd realize that the vast majority of rumor sites agree that Apple is going to update the Nano line. Plus, use some common sense. Why would Apple kill off their most successful iPod to date? I know that's what they did with the mini, but I dont think they have anything better to replace the Nano with. Also, can't wait for the 4 inch video. I'm praying that the rumors are true, but even if they are don't expect it before January :(.

Review: Again, analysts are uninformed. Wolf says he expects new iPod nanos... No, there aren't going to be anymore iPod Nanos. The product line is being killed, similar to the mini. Don't believe me? http://loop.worldofapple.com/archives/2006/08/14/in-brief-ipod-nano-nearing-end-of-life-merom-coming-to-macbook-pro/

Review: How about a new round of deep price cuts? I've always thought the price ranges for these players are way overblown for what you get. I've yet to retire my mp3 CD player because the video players are too little, and small in HD/memory space for the price points for me to jump on the bandwagon just yet!

Review: Everybody always complains about the price of 99 cents a song on iTunes and ignores the fact that there are plenty of other sites where you can download songs for much cheaper. For example, legalsounds.com offers downloads for 9 cents a song. After you download the music you just drag and drop onto your iTunes library and done. I'd much rather spend my money there and keep my music then use a subscription service.

Review: I've said it before and I'll say it again: Why don't they make an iPod with alpha-recognition? Move your thumb to make the letters "P" and "H" and you automatically scroll down to Phish. This would be both a time saver and a safety feature for driving (admit it, you search for songs on that thing while you're driving). Seems like a no-brainer to me, but Ive been asking for this feature for years and still haven't seen it.

Review: The new iPod should be ALL screen on the front face with ALL of the controls operated on the back surface of the iPod. That way the screen doesn't get scratched or oily and mucky. The mind soon gets used to using the fingers on the back surface while looking at the front. Not my idea, but a great one....Use it Apple.

Review: The most apparent indicator of a new iPod soon is the "Free iPod with a Mac" promotion - just like they had last year. Since iPods have their own division within Apple I don't believe that the move to Intel is slowing down their R&D, but rather it is Steve Jobs pushing for something even better. The result will be new iPods that will be very hard to buy during the Holiday buying season. If you're going to get one to give as a gift you'd better buy early,

Review: The Apple phone will be the next ipod-like revolution. Apple will turn the mobile phone market on it's ear as it did in music. VOIP is one rumored area they could play in. Imagine a mobile phone that is VOIP when you're at home and then switched over to a mobile network when away from home. Add in video conferencing with a small isight camera similar to what's on the laptops today and you explode the market. It could happen....

Review: How about an iPod with satellite radio?
