Review: Rock on, Afro Canadian Baby! You make perfect sense. Ms. Nooyi actually made several "positive" comments about the U.S. in her analogy. If only people would read and listen calmly with an open mind before "assuming" what is being written or stated!

Review: To Joe Mattson and outsourcing freaks: It's funny when Indian IT firms do business its outsourcing. when Ford sells cars in India or McKinsey operates in India. It's trade. America saw a lot of growth by exporting to Europe. and then it was Japan/China. Worry about Mexican border, instead of a few 100,000s H1Bs.

Review: Look, you silly people who keep referring to Indra's "anti-American" comments, read the speech and understand that she is offering advice to Americans doing international business to be culturally sensitive and have more social intelligence. For example, most Americans, even educated ones, think that most Canadians live in igloos. Please! Indra calls a spade a spade. Mr Mattson, I'm sorry you lost your job to globalization. Adapt. Welcome to earth, mate. Pepsico is moving forward with an intelligent ethnic and patriotic CEO. Just drank a can of Pepsi. Already tastes better.

Review: I had a chance to hear Indra speak in NYC just a couple months ago when she participating in a celebration for Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. I thought she was incredibly insightful, humble, and engaging. We are experiencing a shift in the status quo, a challenge upon the human race against the norm. A strive towards real equality, after decades is only now beginning to come to fruition. Indra Nooyi, an Indian-born, female soon to be CEO of one of the largest companies in the world, let alone American, getting to this level is a sign of better days to come. Soon, all of you who see a bright, talented woman of color as a threat will be a minority and all of us who want this world to truly be fair will rejoice.

Review: Pepsico is a commercial organization, whose primary goal is profit and the welfare of its shareholders. I would say that Indra Nooyi has been chosen for this job, based on her credentials and promise for the future. She must be doing an heckuva good job to get this promotion. Personally, I thought that her career was finished with her gaffe at Columbia. But it is nice to know that Americans are forgiving and much appreciate the USA for that. This type of generosity will not happen in any other country, for sure. Best wishes to Indra for a successful posting :)

Review: To those who fear globalization, I say fear lack of innovation and competition more. Globalization is the only true hedge for economic downturns. There are still plenty of quality American made products and services whose business would expand exponentially if marketed to other countries, but many US companies lack the knowledge of how to sell internationally. Kudos to PepsiCo in the "cola wars" for this continued direction.
