Review: The backscatter xray machine i find is very invasive. It should never be forced opon anyone with out there being overwhelming probable cause . For example if someone had a coloscopy bag or a young woman is wearing a tampon its not anyones business and no one has a right to subject them to that embarassment. Our airport security has been just fine since 911 and to take it to this level is offensive and unecacary.

Review: If these puffer/scanner machines stop one terrorist from getting on a plane, then they are worth the time and money. All you people making a fuss about going through any security measures at the air ports in the USA, I hope you are never on any of the same flights that I will be on. if you are only thinking about yourself when it comes to security in aviation, do us all a favor and drive your car......

Review: The "Puffer" machine used at the Albquerque Airport may be fast, however, I was subjected to four scans before the glass doors opened. In the interim, I was yelled at by a disgruntled guard who could care less that I was subjected to four so called puffer scans. When I asked to speak to the person in charge he refused to say anything about the machine except to point out its maker. My concern, are air travel passengers being subjected to scanners that may cause cancer or other illness?

Review: I was subjected to the airblaster booth twice recently and it was horrible.
I screamed both times because the air blasts are frightening and invasive. It wasn't until now, after researching these hideous machines, that I realized that the security men got a good look at my naked body on their monitors. And they laughed when they heard me scream.
I have no idea what the long term affects are of this dangerous machine but I am angry and appalled.
What is the American Civil Liberties Union doing about this criminal activity by the so called "homeland security" department of our nation?

Review: I think this is crap. It looks like a small microwave and everyone knows the dangers of using those so why put humans into them. What's going to be the health problems caused by these. It's just the governments way of taking EVEN MORE of your free rights away from you. You don't really have free right of speech and now they get to look under your clothing how CREEPY.

Review: Personally, I will take any amount of screening and security over having ever again to watch a single human being jump from an 100th story window of a burning building. I work in and around airports almost every day. I get screened and searched a lot. But I have nothing but pride and respect for the men and women who perform a service to us all. They keep us safe, even those who have never flown in their lives. I doubt anyone in their right mind would want a plane crashing in their neighborhood. So let's keep in the forefront of our minds the consequences of relaxing our guard. You have a choice, another 9/11 horror or airport security that's more of a inconvenience then it used to be.

Review: I've flown twice since the heightened airport security measures and even experienced the puffer machinces at one airport. If these measures help me experience safe trips then it is of no inconvenience to me. Another reviewer complained of having to throw expensive make-up away. It has been made very clear for a month now that those types of items are not allowed on carry-on baggage. I'm not sure why she assumed it would be any different for her. We have become a country of little patience looking for instant gratification. Remember, flying is a convenience and a priviledge, not a constitutional right. Finally, in response to another comment, the war will not be over when Bush leaves office. Terrorists don't think like you or I think. These extremists hate us, all of us no matter political lines, and won't stop. My gratitude goes out to the pilots, flight attendents and other airport/airline personnel for making my recent "conveniences" safe ones.

Review: They threw away my Chanel make up that wasn't even liquid. I paid a lot of money for that. They even threw away my important eye drops, and after all, my Chanel perfume and Dior lipgloss. I couldn't talk to anyone about it, they told me either throw it away or don't get on the plane. I was very upset.

Review: This is a bunch of nonsense. This happened to me on a flight coming back from Miami with my family. I had three children ranging from 4 months old to 5 years--talk about difficult. I think this is all Bush's idea just to get more attention or more ratings. Everyone knows he is to blame for 9/11. There's been a war since he got into office--how convenient. Once he's out of office--thank God--the war will be over.
