Review: I just recently bought a used Ford F-150 from my local Ford dealership. I have come to find that there were many mechanical and maintenance problems with the vehicle. About $3K worth of work needed to be done. I don't have that kind of money and I'm not sure what to do....

Review: Hi. I'm a 15-year employee who transfered to Mich. from N.J. I work at the Mustang plant. I'm wondering are we going to be offered a buy out? I'm ready to move. If we are going to be offered a buy out, how much? In one article they said the company was on focusing on plants that were closing. Then why did Woodhaven stamping get a buy out? They weren't listed to close. Thank you

Review: Ford needs to work on quality control! Also fire the person who is obsessed with the two-tone gold paint. Throw the gold paint can away Bill Ford--and the plastic clading. This 2006 not 1998! Hire auto designers with some class. Wake up Ford. You are the only one doing the two-tone paint thing. It looks cheap!

Review: Ford needs to offer more than the 3 year 36,000 mile warenty. Other car makers offer a 20 year 200,000 mile on their cars because they can stand behind their product. I own a Mercury and I like my Ford.

Review: I now know why the media will not tell the public that Ford is making a poor quality product and that is why they are having troubles. It's not just the big bad trucks. It's called add revenue. Why would the media touch on this when Ford can pull the ads.

Review: The Boycott of Ford by conservative Christian Groups is the straw that is breaking the camel's back but they will never admit it. I personally was shopping for a Ford and my SIL was too when we joined the boycott. He bought VW and I bought Caliber Dodge.

Review: I think Ford is on the right track with products in the Lincoln - Mercury brand. I own a Mercury Mariner and it is an outstanding, high quality, economical vehicle with distictive styling. The Milan sedan is also bringing in former import buyers. Lincoln products coming like MKS will really change peoples impression of Ford and Lincoln Mercury. Finally, I think you missed the point that the Ford stock is substantially undervaled. At $6 - $8 per share that's the value of Volvo. Go figure!

Review: My letter to Bill Ford (several years ago) did not receive a reply. Although I did recommend that Ford of Europe buy VOLVO CARS and place JAGUAR in a museum of extinct species. At least he followed part of my advice. LandRover may be worth retaining if Britain would join the EURO zone and join the real world of European manufacturing.

Review: I sent a letter to Bill Ford to bring back the Festa as it got 39/49 MPG & was the poor man's small SUV aka: the hatchback. Mr Ford never answered my snailmail. This shows how Ford regards its market. I owned a Fiesta & loved it. So did most, if not all, of the Fiesta owners. It's such a shame that Ford doesn't pay attention. VW is bringing back the Rabbit. Well duh! They know the market is here & that the hatchback is much more environmentally efficient. Thanks, Pattik

Review: I don't understand the comment that Ford was late to the party with hybrids. They had the first hybrid-SUV and that was only a few years ago. The market still hasn't changed much so they are still one of the few selling them. They chose a good model to build around for their first hybrid, being the Escape. They're coming out with the next-generation hybrids soon, but aren't putting all their marbles in that basket either.
