Nickname: Ron
Review: At first I thought of Ron as just someone comical simply hawking products which probably didn't really work. But today when I see him I am greatly impressed by his zeal and the apparent honesty in what he's saying.

Review: I worked on several of Ron's infomercials in Burbank during the '90s and this article captures the one thing that put him past the others --- his passion for his products. He is great at communicating this in a realistic "non-slick" manner which results in trust and belief in the benefits of the product. His attention to detail was superb. On the pasta show, he stood at the entrance and asked each audience member if they had a big breakfast as they came on the set. If they said "no" they sat in front. He wanted all the hungry ones in front of the cameras when the food came out. It worked!

Review: We need more customer-savvy people like Ron around instead of market segmenters and paper pushers.
