Review: My greatest problem with VoIP system has been the headaches associated with faxing. They gave me instructions to discuss with my Brother Intellifax tech servicer but the problems persist, whether I use my Intellifax or use my HP 5-in-one deskjet for faxing. There are certain fax numbers that it will persistently state it is a poor line condition preventing transmission and I will always be able to receive a fax from those numbers but I can never send a fax to them. The only way I have been able to get around this is to "mail" the fax immediately if it can be delayed in their response, or if it necessary to be immediate, disconnect the Vonage and attach the fax machine to an existing land line, usually the one that I have for my security system. Brother has informed me that they are now working on new fax machines that will hopefully be compatible with these VoIP systems since they have been having so many problem calls from customers related to these issues.

Review: VoIP is well known for offering an incredible array of features. Most VoIP companies provide features that normal phone companies charge for. One of the more interesting features of VoIP are Virtual Numbers, allowing you to have multiple inbound telephone numbers in different cities regardless of your location. Another VoIP feature is called Voicemail, where you can listen to your phone messages by email from anywhere in the world as well as Find Me, where you to define a list of phone numbers needed to get hold of you. These numbers are automatically called in sequence until you finally answer the call. Following is a list of features that you should consider when looking for a VoIP service. Some service providers give you all these functions, others do not. http://www.VoIP-Phone-Service-Solutions.com

Review: I had a very bad experience with Vonage. 4 months of pure hell as they assured me that they will improve systems. Also, lack of communication with their staff. I wouldn't go that route again if someone paid me.

Review: To create a more effient use of manpower it would be a better idea to use voip with push to talk to enable individuals to work closely in solving problems as they occur on a real time basis. Until that is incorporated they are at a disadvantage

Review: If tech heads think Cisco & Microsoft are the way of the world, they are lacking education. This is telephony not a graphical user interface or networking.

Review: I have to agree VOIP is inevitable. I would have however like it to touch how it will effect the traditional mobile operators.
