Review: Why limit this to auto's. Private homes are becoming energy self sufficient. Energy needs to be stored during the day and used at night. The capacitor could be as big as a garbage can.

Review: I think it's a fantastic idea.
Hope you have gotten the financial support you need to make this a reality.
Technology needs to advance, not dwell on fear from people that don't want change.

Review: The article, 3 years old now, refers to batteries as a clean source of power, a common fantasy. Batteries store power from power sources such as coal, uranium and natural gas. They do not do this very efficiently. When you charge or discharge a battery, it heats up - wasting energy - actually wasting a lot of energy if you charge or discharge quickly such as accelerating from 0 to 60 in 3.6 s.

Review: Why don't you just call it an aluminum-carbon battery. That way you don't have to explain what a capacitor is. It's all about marketing. People tend to react on gut feel and if they don't know what a capacitor is they'll stay away from it. But if you've made a new type of battery with vast improved performance...

Review: I work at Ford on Fuel Cell/Hybrid cars, and sorry, but you all need to stop trying to imrove on this idea here. You dont realize that if this works, then they have as far as the public's concerned, created a battery that lasts just as long as a normal battery, and gets charged in seconds. So you could drive 100 miles or whatever, and then stop for 10 seconds. By adding all these other things you talked about like regen breaking, and hybrid technology, and fuel cell technology, you are just adding weight, and cost to the car, never mind that you have to pay for gas or hydrogen now. Adding the cost of a gas motor or a fuel cell(Which is insanely expensive and is why we dont have fuelcells on the road right now) would definately take away from potential customers. Regen breaking was the only decent idea i saw.

Review: Every one remember that batteries cars are great. But you must recharge them if your going on long trips. I am working on an idea that might solve this probleum. at most it will increase the mileage in the electric car. 2,3,5,10,time or more on the time befor it needs to be recharged. I work in the oil field in South Texas for over 20 years. And know we need to invent new energy supply for the future.

Review: Capacitor power with a small generator sounds ideal. Why don't you start a co. & sell stock to raise the needed capitol to build these cars?

Review: the way to get gas mileageis to charge a capicator on breaking and using the charge on thc capicator on acceleratin.A small engine and small battery save weight. The capicator could be charged on startup for a few seconds before being put in gear, for initial acceleration and a silicon controled rectifier ? control acceleration and keep acceleration slow enough rather than a huge burst of speed.

Review: What about using electrolosys to get hydrogen out of water, and use the hydrogen engine to charge the capacitors.
