Review: Excellent, excellent choice. The spirit of the troops is hopeful. The wish of many is that this will stop the removal of so many talented people in order to achieve a profit for stockholders and we'll focus on innovative ideas to achieve the growth and profit. But time will tell and "the Street" forces its will on even the best.

Review: Having lived in a country lead by the "other gender" for over a decade and a half, and having seen a quantum growth to a country written off by economists - Bangladesh (see June 26 issues of Newsweek international), I am not surprised to see a capable business leader like Irene leading one of the largest business organizations. Her background in marketing and a strong focus on understanding the consumer and delivering their "promise" will probably lead to a great turn around to the business. Good luck and blessings on her journey. -- M Jahangir Kabir Dhaka, Bangladesh +880192000210

Review: Rosen... whoever, won't make any difference. As long as this type of company, as a team of spirited people, do not understand they are on a path of decreasing global market share, all efforts will be lost. Marketing global costs will go up, pay back down, as force feed does not work any more, and is busted now since a big number of years. But, turning a blind eye towards realism has been a mainstay of this industry for decades now. The big difference from past years is that time is becoming short, as we are facing an acceleration of recent trends in consumer demands. Resisting it serves no purpose, and has a direct impact on profits, as Kraft figures show. They are not an isolated case.

Review: I stopped buying Kraft foods and have encouraged my friends and family not to buy for over 20 years because of the tobacco link. I look forward to their complete separation so I can have oreos, etc again.
