Review: Good luck to India. I hear alot of Bangalore (about 80% or so) still has no running water. So that probably makes alot of you malnourished. Also if Indians are so intelligent, why are they in the state they are in today ?

Review: I think EDS is really playing catch up to IBM, HP and Accenture. Most people do not know that aside from having an India and China software development team, IBM, HP and Accenture have a 500, 400 and 5,000 software development team in the Philippines.

Review: I had worked many years in IT outsourcing business in the States. Some offshore work could be well managed and save you great money in my view. I am now helping a Chinese company to seek outsourcing work in software testing service. Any interest just let me know by sending mail to hye_98@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Review: Well! Outsourcing is the need of India and its a want of America. Now who is smarter? Obviously, the great American corporations and businesses and the common American people. Who is losing? Nobody. Its a win-win for both in the short and long term. Although, it seems Americans are losing jobs, the truth is they'd lose all of them if sustainability is not achieved by their corporation in todays globalized world. When WTO was formed, I don't know if they included human beings as one of the commodities. India is nothing but cheap labor for America as of now and will continue to be as long as Indian keep complaining about someone commenting on Indian IQ. Outsourcing is an irreversible outcome of Globalization and its right now benefitting all the participants but most benefit is derived by the already developed nations. Outsourcing is a major win for America and it'll only raise America's Intellectual Capital.

Review: Dudes, don't get mad at the original poster who said Indians have a low IQ. He probably lost his job to India and got screwed. Indians are widely respected throughout the world.

Review: The American way of thinking doesn't really apply to the world anymore. Call us Indians stupid if you like, but anyone can show you how efficiently our companies are run. GM in India is profitable, but look at the state of the American companies. Ditto Ford! And heaps of other companies. It is your insecurity that is causing you guys to make statements like these. Take a walk with me at Mindspace (a place where Indians do work for you Americans) and you will see how good the work standards are, and that we are not so malnourished after all!

Review: Regarding Ross Perot being fundamental, I disagree. Let's remember that he built an empire on IT infrastructure services and sold EDS. Then, always the adaptable person, his next company, PerotSystems, had more focus on application development and today has a significant portion of its staff in India -- almost half of the 20,000 staff.

Review: Indians have higher than average IQ and way higher EQ (it means emotional quotient) than the rest of the world. India is developing its own regional GPS; it is one of a handful of countries that have their own SPY sattelite. India will be the country with the world's third largest GDP in a couple of decades. Watch out. By the way, historically, lots of things, including the decimal system and the number zero, were invented in India thousands of years ago when the western world was still living in caves. Anybody who knows anything about world history knows India's contribution to the world in areas such as medicine, linguistics, science, spirituality etc. Last but not least -- people from india make more money than any other ethnic group in the U.S. So it doesn't really sound INTELLIGENT to say Indians have low IQ.

Review: Interesting point . . . so what really does it indicate about the so-called leaders or the organization [or industry for that matter], that they are dumber than the Indians to send work to them? If so, then it really makes an interesting implication about the overall intelligence of the U.S. as these folks are supposed to be the best. Wow! Talk about backfire now!

Review: I retract my last statement, I wasn't aware that IQ and wealth of nations holds no significance in this argument because a majority of Indians were historically malnourished but with the advent of economic change -- positive economic change -- the majority of the Indian population's IQ will be above average because of the historic respect for education in that country. I'm sorry, my arguments were based on racial theories and not on looking out for the well-being of fellow humankind.
