Review: Please don't lead people to believe that all E-commerce transactions are unaided. Online retailers who provide good help via e-mail, chat, phone and informative web presentations stand to benefit as service declines in the brick-and-mortar realm. Shoppers who demand good service can and will find it. Ask the service-oriented e-tailers whether they are hiring. You may discover a trend that's worth writing about.

Review: having worked in retail for 18 years in corporate-owned stores. This is what they (corp) have been doing for the past five years it seems: cut payroll, ask employees to multitask more. and less customer service. Then when they see sales are down, blame managers for poor sales, bad "shops," and high shrink. After being a successful manager with various music store chains, I had enough and got out. I would work more and more hours after my store closed just to do tasks so when we were open we could drive sales. However, being salaried what did it matter to those above? They were home by the fireplace Christmas Eve, while I and my fellow managers were setting up our after Christmas Sale until 9 and 10 pm, and trying to tell our families we would be home as soon as we could.
I could go on. I'm glad I'm out.

Review: Retail must be one of those industries where "Americans won't take this job" and the HR departments don't speak enough Spanish to hire the illegals!

Review: Yeah, there are several possibilities but we want to be sure and stretch things so that the conclusion is always the worst of all - right BW? As if retailers know more than anyone else and have this super insight. What garbage.
