Review: Why not make all cars white and make people wear white hats as well? If you are going to go crazy on unfounded assumptions lead by people with products to sell by making their competitors illegal you might as well go all the way.

Review: Flexible market-based solutions equals doing nothing. It is too late for that, go watch "an inconvenient truth" and find out why unfortunately, we must act through government and private intervention. Besides, if we didn't have widespread building standards, many thousands would die in earthquakes, right? So instead of labeling each other Soviets or Fascists, or whatever, let's all act!

Review: Blanket edicts across wide geographic areas are a bad idea. Why improve energy efficiency in appliances in cold climates - the extra heat they give off just reduces energy consumed for heating. California may be 'progressive' but it tends to favor Soviet style technocratic planning instead of flexible market-based solutions that cost less and deliver more.

Review: Wow. I truly enjoy being with all of the energy savers of California. I am fascinated by solar energy. I have a solar heater for my pool.

Review: There have been companies in northern climes whose only heating has been provided by the office machines and computers in the building, no external heating required. Speaks volumes.

Review: Go see the movie "An Inconvenient Truth", and then go to the website "www.climatecrisis.net" to do your part to conserve energy and reverse global warming. Oh, and vote Bush and his cronies out of the White House.

Review: I don't know about white roads (blinding!), but it's good to know some people in this state have some sense. I just hope this kind of change will be perfected and spread to the rest of the country sooner than 20 years from now!

Review: California has aggressively picked the low hanging fruit of the energy efficiency tree. The next steps are zero energy new homes and retrofit energy efficiencies in existing housing and building stocks. As CEO's and political leaders are aware the company or nation state who has a handle on its energy sources have imcomparable advantages.

Review: The White Roof idea makes sense in the summer, but not so much in the winter. Show us a cheap roof that can differentiate, then we'll be smarter than the Pharoahs.
