Review: Now, as expected, VG share is sinking to $9.00 and will reach $5.00 soon. There are a couple of class action lawsuits for Vonage IP. They obviously commit fraud to their own customers by raising the price from $12-13 a share to $17.00 in the last day. They are hunting their customers who participated in direction customers share program and did not pay. They are losing both ways. The company is going to a fast bankruptcy soon because of this fraud and the history of its founder.

Review: I happily pay my $25.00 a month for a local number here in Santa Fe, but the Vonage box is in my son's apartment in Reykjavik, Iceland. It allows him to call any of his friends in the States and Canada for free, and the only way I can tell that it is VoIP is that the quality of the calls is much better than the local telephone company. Cheap, effective and reliable is my experience, IPO woes notwithstanding.

Review: Get over it! The market, and IPOs in particular, are not guaranteed money makers. Those who bought or committed to buy shares did so at their own risk. Why don't you wait a while and see if the numbers go back up before crying to the courts?

Review: It is a shame Vonage's customer-friendly idea to offer customers shares has been met with such unjustified "fraud" criticism by customers who should know a lot more about investing before they jump in. They already save you money on your phone bill, and you hate them because they didn't make you a millionaire too?

Review: I signed up for the Vonage IPO, but was never communicated with to tell me that I actually got the shares. Two weeks later, I now get a call from Smith Barney. They gotta be joking me. In this day in age, do they really think that we are really stupid! I expect a ton of class action lawsuits coming out of this if Vonage pursues payment from people like me. This is simply fraud that cannot be tolerated.

Nickname: Vonage customer.
Review: I have been a Vonage customer for four years. I also work on VoIP technology, so I know the ins and outs about it. Vonage has a very good service. Skype cannot be compared with Vonage and its features. You want something cheap that runs on the Internet, not free. I can see good growth for Vonage. Other VoIP service providers are at least five years behind Vonage. Yes, basic voice will be free eventually. But by that time Vonage will have so many customers and added features will be sold for high premium. I did not buy any Vonage ipo stock. I am a swing trader, no long-term business. I would buy Vonage when it fits my technical analysis of the stock. I don't see burnt customers leaving, bad-mouthing Vonage. They know it is a good company and good service. If they discontinue they will lose more. Customers and investors are two different caps.

Review: I have cancelled Vonage because the service was terrible, and their customer service is even worse. They do not care about their customers, and this IPO seems to be further proof of that. While on the phone with their tech support they asked if they could call me on a different number because the connection was so bad. Have you ever heard of the phone company asking for an alternative number because their service was so bad?

Nickname: VOIP user
Review: As a satisfied Vonage user for almost two years, but did not purchase its IPO, I can objectively comment on the following issues: 1) The concern that Vonage might lose its users to Skype's is nonsense. Although VOIP phone relies on Internet cable, it works without a PC. 2) On the other hand, the free Skype service is not for everyone. Typical users communicate sitting in front of a computer with a headset and microphone, or with a USB handset that plugs into your computer (although it looks like a typical phone, you might not hear a dial tone, and it won't plug into a normal phone jack). I gave up calling a friend who uses Skype because he never sits in front of his computer waiting for my phone call. Besides its poor quality and dropped calls. Do you really think users will replace their quality and inexpensive VoIP phones for Skype's toy-like headset/mike?

Review: I am one of Vonage's customers who trusted them and paid $17 per share. I paid for 200 shares. If the stock is not going back to higher values, I will sell and disconnect the service. I will also advise all people who I referred to Vonage to disconnect the service. There are many other options there and there is no room for the company to commit fraud on their own customers. Their original pricing was $12 to $13 dollars a share and they raised it to $17 in the last day. This is a fraud to their own customers. The share was only $13 whan it was put in the market on the first day.
