Review: Good news on the overall... But it seems that not all countries in Europe are up to the beat, esp. in regard to recent web2.0 developments. Trying to raise capital, e.g. in Denmark (once home of Skype), still seems a Herculean task. Web2.0 is still science fiction for many investors here, despite some very real acquisitions (Skype, MySpace, YouTube etc). There are definitely some success stories, but a company such as Ripplr.com are probably just one of many struggling with outdated business mindsets in the (sometimes too) old world.
