Review: The people with 6 at a time plans complaining about delays in service. I was told that they generally work on a sliding scale. Those people that receive fewer at a time get priority. I have been on a one or two at a time plan for years and just about ALWAYS get it with a one day turn around both at my place in LA and Western OR. I guess that is unfortunate to those renting a lot at once, but it is to offset the fact you will get a lot more rentals per month even with the slower turnaround. Meanwhile us low quantity renters will get very few if the turnaround is slow.

Review: Netflix uses "throttling" when shipping their movies, ex. i have the 6 at a time unlimited plan, they recieved my movies monday (4 of them)and sent them out, on thursday i recieved 2 of them and on friday i recieved the next 2, when typically i get it the next day after they have shipped, well at least thats what i got when i used the free trial, but now that im on a monthly plan that never happens

Review: I've used Netflix since I first heard of it in 2000. My first DVD player was bought so that I could subscribe. I added both Wal-Mart and Blockbuster memberships so that I could get more movies at once. I can view 15 to 20 a week. Both Wal-Mart and Blockbuster were dismal failures. No one can compete with Netflix. Any drawbacks are usually short and temporary. No one else has the availability and options that Netflix has. I just wish they had a 12, 15, or 20 at a time rental option.

Review: I have been with Netflix for a very long time. Overall I have been very satisfied. Yes, there have been times of slow turn around, some DVDs I've had problems and now I am starting to get DVDs sent from other location. But they are still better then Blockbuster. I rented a two day rental movie from blockbuster at 11:50 pm and was told my first day will in at midnight that night. I ran to Netflix.

Review: I had a Netflix account for quite a while. I agree with one commentor that at first is was great. One day turn around and I had them all again. (6 at as time.) After a while they stalled my dvds. Told me they were coming from some off the wall area far from me. It got annoying after a while. I was furious that they didn't keep the same schedule and service I had gotten in the beginning. And regardless of the number of messages I sent them, I just got more and more excuses. So I cancelled it. Well I am back with Netflix after trying Blockbuster for a few months. I guess, grudgingly, that I appreciate the fact I have a Netflix center close to my house. Usually one day turn around. At least until Netflix started their garbage. Oh well. I like the downloadable idea. But the choice of movies really stinks. Movielink was better in that dept. Albeit expensive and slower. For all you scratch whiners, a little car wax and a cloth will polish the DVD. Never had one that didn't work on.

Review: After constant complaints to the local Blockbuster manager about the store being a mess and movies that couldn't be found, I threatened to stop coming into the store. He said, "we'd actually rather our customers shopped online." He meant at Blockbuster's Total Access, of course. Sorry, Blockbuster - Netflix now has 100% of my movie rental money.

Review: My wife got netflix while I was away in Iraq. Since I've been home, I use the watch now and really enjoy it very much, especially when I'm away on training. Those who don't enjoy it must be a blockbuster employee. Thanks Netflix!
