Review: It was the oil companies, Standard Oil co., that destroyed America's alternative energy during the early 1900's. America's cars were designed to burn alcohol; but, the corrupt oil companies' monopolies destroyed competition. Alcohol was taxed into non-existence. It was the oil companies and the GM conspiracy that destroyed public transportation in America. It is the oil companies who are getting corporate welfare to hold America hostage by controlling the funding for alternative energy in the ethanol fuel industries that will never happen as long as the oil companies control congress. They are not going to lose their investments in oil to develop other resources unless we buy them out. That's extortion.

Review: Quit complaining about gas. In Europe, it's over $5 a gallon. They're over there laughing at us right now. Plus, we're still buying gas. If we want the price to decrease so bad, boycott it-- walk to work or ride a bike to work. For people who absolutely have to drive to work, buy a Toyota Corolla. We have no right to complain about gas.

Review: PROFIT means just that . . .money left over after the bills and costs are paid. The public should be outraged at the insult to their intelligence, to be told these lies and then be expected to just give up necessities sometimes just so they can pay for gas to go to work! Why do we bother to vote anyway? The government officers who are supposed to represent us make promises and NEVER keep them. They do as they please.

Review: Remember that petreoleum is a major feedstock for many plasrics. Also, using natural gas to generate electricity is NUTS! Finally, the French have done one thing right -nuclear power! Shed the treehuggers and get on with it.

The government subsidized corn - high fructose -

Coke products will also taste better.

Review: I went through the hassle of becoming an "ICANN member at large" specifically so I could vote for people who claimed they supported either a .sex or .xxx . The next step would have been a transparent process to force the sex industry to give up .com .net and .gov sites and move to the .sex or .xxx . Far better to make the purveyors of smut bear the cost of making protection of children easier than force all parents to have to buy, install and continually update filtering software. Here in the U.S., one of the most vocal opponents of .sex and .xxx is the Cristacrat base of the Republican party. These are the people that don't just want to personally never see anything sexual, they don't want anyone to see anything they deem objectionable. This includes factual information about prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. Factual information about breast cancer or testicular cancer. These are sex organs and therefore verboten.

Review: Why does everyone have to move when they retire? There seems to be an overriding need to escape the place they've lived all of their lives. If it's so bad, why did they stay there?

Review: To "So What" Guy who says "screw health you'll die anyway." Nice attitude - yeah, we all still get sick and die eventually, but it's more about feeling GOOD while you're alive, dummy. Get exercise, your body will crave good food, you'll have more energy, less health problems while you're alive, and enjoy life more. Quit making excuses for your fat butt.

Review: More economic incentives to promote alternative energy to oil can be a good American drumbeat. That means more immediate use of ethanol and totally lifting taxes on imported ethanol. Furthermore, U.S. citizens must be encouraged to develop alternative life styles: smaller cars, group transport, public transport, and different life-styles for conserving energy. Nice to upgrade city and urban infrastructure build-up to encourage bicycling to work and school (let us get Lance Armstrong to lead this charge) and make it safe to do so. We also need bicycle storage centers at bus and train stops as standard installations and designated carriages on trains to allow riders to take their bicycles to work. Bicycling to work and school will make an already overweight nation a healthier nation and save on oil as well. Americans must understand that over consumption of oil may translate to indirectly funding terrorism, when that part of petrol-dollars use for terrorist education and training.
