Review: I am a Brother of the Eta Omega Chapter at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I enjoyed reading this article and most points made were right-on, however, I beg to differ with the statement that Business fraternities lack a social bond. I can honestly say that joining Alpha Kappa Psi has truly changed my life. I do not know what I would do without AKPsi. It has made college so much more enjoyable for me and I have made friends with so many people I would have other wise never met. My chapter conducts weekly "brother-events" for everyone just to get together and hang-out. We also hold a formal each year. The pledging process of a business fraternity is not only hands on and educational but it allows you to grow those special bonds with one another. I have a passion for AKPsi like I've never had a passion for something ever in my life. These people are wonderful and I truly love them like family (we call ourselves Brothers for a reason). I'm proud and honored to call myself a Brother of Alpha Kappa Psi.

Review: As a member of Delta Sigma Pi at Loyola Marymount University, I just want to say how much this fraternity has offered both socially and professionally. It's the best choice I made in college because the people I have met I will remain close with for the rest of my life!

Review: Nice Kara! Good to hear the UNC chapter is close :D. I personally have experienced tremendous professional growth thanks to AKPsi. I learned things that I would've learned eventually, but AKPsi was definitely a catalyst that put it all in perspective. I also see great growth in other brothers.

Review: Good article on business frats. Jimmy from Mizzou, this is Robert from the Academy '06 (an AKPsi leadership program), good to see your input here! I, too, am proud to have made the association with AKPsi a part of my life, and have made friends I never thought I would make, mostly through the frat's social activities. Any one that says AKPsi can't throw a party just hasn't been invited!

Review: In response to Ader's comment that group housing isn't possible in business fraternities, therefore, close bonds can not be formed, I would have to disagree. Perhaps, all business fraternities do not own or live in a house, but our fraternity is lucky enough to have that opportunity. So our fraternity bonds are strengthened for those of us who choose to reside in the house. However, there is still a strong sense of unity and brotherhood, as a whole, for the entire fraternity.

Review: I'm an alumnae of Beta Psi chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi at Florida State University. I disagree with some of the articles points. The article says that it's not possible for co-ed business groups to have a house. My chapter has had a house for decades & it is lived in by male and female members. My chapter also has traditional "social greek" activities like Formal. I also know of several other chapters with houses, i.e. the WMU chapter has a house. Also this article suggests that membership in a business fraternity & membership in other business societies & social fraternities & sororities is mutually exclusive, it isn't. Many members of AKPsi are the presidents & officers of other business clubs. I was VP of the International Business Association. Thus, the article's example about the Wharton Accounting Society and other groups that teach one about business does not exclude the high probability that some if not all of the people in the Accounting Society are members of AKPsi as well.

Review: I love articles that shine a positive light on greek organizations, especially business fraternities. I am a senior member of Alpha Kappa Psi as well as an officer and my life has changed drastically (for the better) since I joined! Being a part of this amazing organization has developed my potential both professionally and socially. I really don't think I was getting everything I could from college until I joined the Xi Phi chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi. We're a fantastic group of people who really focus on professional development, community service, and, of course, social development. GO XI PHI!
