Review: The current rulers of Egypt are convinced that there is no weight for the public opinion of Egyptians and that only the outside world is important. They consider the majority of Egyptians slaves who should always be grateful to their masters. Until the people themselves change this, nobody would be keen to give the Egyptians their freedom.

Review: To measure economic progress by the government announced rate of growth or direct investment misses the point. More fitting measures would be unemployment, poverty, illiteracy, inflation, and national debt. The entire social insurance fund was squandered in the stock market and corruption rules the day. Few Egyptian would agree with you that the election was smooth. Most would say that the democratization process was intended to keep Mubarak in control and allow his party to nominate only one person to govern, Mubarak's own son. Egypt is in trouble unless the political system truly reflects the will of the people and it joins the modern world.

Review: Describing Egypt as a Kingdom is no longer a sin on the street and the lack of transparency on the throne succession plans are indeed more detrimental than the ruling family and its entourage have envisaged to date. Courage and wisdom are what we pray for every day to be part of the government's practiced rather than advocated agenda.
