Review: This is a hilarious bit of foresight. Exactly what they said Americans shouldn't worry about has happened.

Review: There is a recent study published by the Bank of Inter-American Development that uses the growth in residential tourism in Spain to show that it is a negative factor for a country in the long term. Recently, one of the researchers visited Panama and pointed this study out to the local press and politicians. Many have now seized on this theme to rally against residential tourism. The study completely fails to take into consideration several important factors that are significantly different in Latin America than in Europe. The immigration in Spain is predominantly from the UK. Both Spain and Great Britain would be considered first world, and their economies and governments are considerably larger and more advanced than those in Latin America.
