Review: Hi im actually a teen and i have a myspace. id just like to say that its not as if the government and such dont give out information on how dangerous myspace can be, but its just a risk. its like saying "dont go to africa because i know someone who broke their leg there". Obviously, the people who made myspace are aware of the RISK of being stalked, therefore they have stuff like PRIVATE so our profiles cannot be viewed. Also, with the amount of warnings and stuff, its only the people who really just dont care enough to be careful with myspace. im not saying they deserve it, just that they could be better informed. The government shouldnt be able to have so much control over us...its scary to think what that type of control could do...

Review: I think that MySpace can only be more dangerous than safe. If someone does not know the implications of posting personal blogs, private messages, and pictures that the whole world can see, they may not realize that someone could even find out their residences, making it a whole lot easier to track victims down. I am for protecting kids from online predators.

Review: Hi... I think myspace is a good thing. Although, young children can get into trouble if they aren't monitored by their parents. Yes, there is chat rooms and stuff, but if you are smart...you can set your profile to private so you don't have to worry about talking to weirdos. You can even require people to either put in your last name or e-mail address before they can even send a friend request. Now...that doesn't seem so life threatening does it? Myspace is okay. It shouldn't be banned.. If anything, porn sites should be banned before this is.Thank you for your time...

Review: i am writing a report on myspace as an online community. here are some facts i have gathered through surveys and research : With many incidents of stalking, virtual bullying and harassment occurring in online communities, there are concerns about MySpaces safety. The survey questioned the users about their experiences with strangers, harassment and inappropriate behavior caused by other users. 60% of 14-18 year olds reported that they had been contacted by strangers on MySpace, 40% had experienced or been the victim of virtual bullying involving harassment, offensive or inappropriate behaviour,10% had experienced online stalking and 15% had interacted with users they felt uncomfortable toward or felt were dangerous or unsafe.

Review: I agree with many people. I have a MySpace account, and unless you're really really retarded or something there should be no way someone should be able to get to you. You can make your MySpace profile private, where no one can see it except your friends. Also, the majority of MySpace users don't use it to meet new people, but to get together with old buddies or friends that they do not see anymore. Also, don't be a fool and give out all of your personal info. I put that I live in Falls Creak, Wisconsin on my MySpace when I really don't, and one of my actually friends that I hadn't seen for some while actually believed me. The only people that are getting stalked and because of MySpace probably deserve to (well, not exactly) because they need to stop being foolish.

Review: I just got a MySpace and it is good for people to have because you can't always talk to your friends on the telphone, but you can on MySpace. People always say how bad it is and everything, but if you just acept people you know then we won't have to wory about pedophiles. Well, that's all I have to say.

Review: In my case, I have given my mom my password and everything she needs to view my MySpace account. Also, I know not to talk to anyone I don't know, so I only have my friends at school as my friends on MySpace. If some pevert wants to solicit me he wouldn't be able to, because if I didn't know him I wouldn't add him to my friends list.
