Review: This rosy projection seems to have missed the Eatoni.com litigation which is further along than Visto. It completely glosses over the fact that the court ruled that RIM pirated inventions, and that they repeatedly exercised very poor judgment by disrespecting a multitude of other party's intellectual property.

Review: I believe you are overly optimistic. Competitors will take more of RIM's market share going forward due to the NTP debacle and the pending Visto litigation. You failed to mention the REDBerry in China.

Review: I have lost respect for S&P and Business Week. I have watched the advice of S&P and its timing and have noticed that it has been consistently wrong. I realize that everyone, including professionals, can make mistakes. However, many people value the opinion of S&P and I believe that some have been severely damaged by their inaccurate recommendations and forecasts. It is a shame, but their credibility has gone into the toilet based on actual results versus their predictions. In fact, at this point, it seems that their comments and timing appear to be overly biased and not worth much in terms of real value. It is a real shame.

Review: Kenneth Leon,
As a CPA, I am embarrassed that you are a CPA. How much are you being paid to hype this company with obvious deteriorating fundementals? They have missed earnings estimates the last 3 quarters and guided downward substantially last quarter.

Review: Excellent analysis, however, Piper Jaffry analyst reported yesterday that 8700 series sales figures for April are disappointing. Furthermore, it remains to be seen how well RIM will be able to compete in the consumer segment. I, personally, am caustiously optimistic. Remainder of 2006 will determine if RIMM will maintain its growth momentum or is doomed to decline.
