Review: I own a Ford F-150, 2004, The newer model, Gas mileage is average 16-17MPG city, 18-20 on the highway. The truck is phenomenal, comfortable ,tight, and very "tough". I have owned several cars and became bored fast , usually trading in after 2-3 years. I now know why Ford truck owners are happy. As for the Tundra and Titan, I looked at them and , decided I wanted a truck and am staying with my Ford. It is the one thing the company IS making right!! As far as gas, thew mileage isn't that bad for a 6000 lb + truck (4.6 Liter engine)

Review: What are you guys talking about with Nissans? I have had three Nissan trucks. 1. 1988 pickup. I had that until 1999 and had zero problems. Zero. 2. Then I bought a 1995 pickup. But I lost that in 2004 when a guy in a Ford ran me off the road while he was drinking a beer. I had zero problems. Zero. 3. Now I have my parents' 2002 Nissan Frontier and I have had zero Problems. And it's great for my towing needs and hauling needs. You guys only complain about smaller trucks like Nissan since you bought bloated trucks to make up for something you're lacking in.

Review: "What's clear is that, at least as far as the auto makers go, there's no dilemma here. As long as they can make money selling big trucks, they will continue to build them." Wrong. The auto makers are making what the people want.

Review: What I am looking at is a Chev 4500 for towing my fifth wheel. I found one reasonably priced with a tow body on it, duramax, 15,000 miles, but it was a lemon law buy back. It was returned for vibration at high speed. If the guy was in the habit of driving 85 or so this won't affect me as I always drive 55 or 60 towing. Is this a common complaint with the 4500s? And if so, what is the remedy? The dealer who repurchased it from GM says it was tested by GM and their techs and showed no vibration but they would lie about the sunrise. I wouldnt mind saving $20,000, though. Anybody had experience with this?

Review: Japanese trucks (vehicles)are a piece of garbage. Unsafety, unperformance, people always buy it because it is cheaper. Toyota and Isuzu's trucks are best selling in Thailand but I would never buy this kind of truck. I am going to buy a Ford ranger truck!! You are American. Why don't you buy American cars! You buy Japanese cars, Japanese will get more money.

Review: I have had 4 Dodge Rams 96,98,00,03.I love my Hemi but am looking hard at the Titans. Dad fought in WW2, so I have a hard time buying Nissan. My Dodge has a loud cab and 20" tires are a pain to replace.

Review: I'm driving a new 2006 Isuzu i-350 4x4 crewcab. Got a great price, $22,000. About two months now. Have 4,500 miles on it, tight as can be, nice ride and good power, and almost 24 MPG with the off road package and big tires and auto trans. So much better than the old chevy truck. And 7-year warranty to boot. My 2000 Rodeo with over 70,000 had been near perfect as well, and feels as tight today as it did when new so I felt confidnet in this truck and am pleased. It feels like I am drining the Rodeo with a pickup bed. Very pleased. A good value in my book.

Review: Most of the complaints I've seen with trucks have ironically come from the ones that sell the most... Ford and GM. Nissan was the first truck to come out with a great interior and while I would love to get a new Chevy Avalanche (much improved interior and exterior style), I do admit that I'm worried about its ability to keep its value, be reliable, and the fact that most of it is now built outside the U.S. Nissan builds their trucks here in the U.S., so the argument for buying "American" has changed a great deal from what it used to be...

Review: My '94 Ranger 4X4 still gets 25mpg with AC at 270K plus miles on the orginal 4-banger and 5-speed. The clutch has been worked on twice and is due for another trip to the garage in about 30K. This is the best little truck I've had. Size-wise there is nothing out there that can match it.
