Review: That is bs. Adidas bought the 3 stripes logo from Karhu.

Review: This is crazy. I can now register a two centimeter hem as a tradmark, or a garment to fit a specific size (5xl or 4xl). What about small, medium and large?

Review: Two and four stripes is not O.K., but five stripes is? Please. And of course a German court ruled in favor of Adidas...no doubt the outcome would have been different had the suit been filed in the U.S.

Review: Does anyone proofread this? Whoops I have tickets for Germany this year but apparently I should be going to Korea and Japan. I hope I can get a refund. And how did I and the rest of the world miss the 2000 World Cup? Someone should tell the Brits they won. They'll be thrilled if a bit confused.

Review: I think BW might have put this article up by mistake, since the article seems to be from several years ago. Not only is the information outdated but it is also wrong since, as it has already been noted, there was no World Cup in 2000. BW should pay closer attention to what articles go on its Web site.

Review: "US $878 million last year, may be further propelled in Japan and Korea when those two nations host the World Cup this year....", ummm didn't that take place like four years ago? This time around it's being held in Germany, and yes both the teams are taking part.

Review: I'd like to point out a few "mis-statements" in the article. 1. "Adidas's rapid growth in Asia, where revenue rose by 15% to US $878 million last year, may be further propelled in Japan and Korea when those two nations host the World Cup this year--an event which is expected to garner 2.5 million spectators and 1 billion TV viewers worldwide." The World Cup (Soccer) being referred to was held in Japan and South Korea in 2002. 2. "Recently dubbed "Captain of England," Beckham led his team to victory in the 2000 FIFA World Cup." There was no FIFA World Cup in 2000, nor did Beckham lead England to victory in any international soccer tournament.

Review: This article is definitely informative. However, I do wish to point out that there are several outdated facts as had been mentioned. Firstly, there was never any FIFA World Cup in 2000. Next to this, Beckham did not lead England to victory as well. Any ardent soccer fan knows their last victory goes way back for Sir Bobby Moore's team in 1966. Having said that, Bryant was an Adidas sponsored athlete. However, the partnership ceased with his off court antics. Certainly not the least important, T-Mac had moved to the Houston Rockets a few seasons back. Informative nonetheless, though more precision is needed on the facts of it.
