Review: In the days following the storms, when everything was in flux and even those of us who came through with homes and lives relatively unscathed, it was hard to look at the devastation around us and imagine what these changes to our world really meant. Homes were gone, people were moving away, my small city on the north shore was packed with refugees. Working for Entergy gave me focus. The care for employees from Wayne Leonard to the supervisors in my own office made me feel safe. I understand how people who lost everything came to work in the days after they were rescued. No matter how much was lost and was going to change in the months and years ahead, we knew tht Entergy was a rock to support us all. Hammond, Louisiana

Review: A big reason why Entergy employees provided such commitment to restoring their customer base was the company's own commitment to employees after the hurricanes. From the top down, the company provided outstanding support for employees who were affected by the hurricane(s). It would be hard to turn around and not deliver that level of commitment.

Review: This is wonderfully written. Has a life enhancing impact. In work, as in life, we confront a time that is frozen. We realize the futility of our mundane existence. Read something like this, the effect is electrifying. One feels to share this with all. Only if people were all online. What a pity many cannot read this! Best regards to the author.
