Review: I prefer social networking sites like profile.com because the website is very clear to follow and also they give points for participation as well as cool giveaways. A great site to meet people from around the world!*

Review: www.campusjoint.com is also an SNS but with an added level of protection for users required--a valid university e-mail account to register. And there are applications specifically tailored for university students.

Review: I think that social networks are the future for most businesses. The amount of people who visit these pages, click on advertisments, and spend money is huge. So I think businesses have it all wrong. The next big online social network company is coming real soon that will knock out MySpace, Friendster, Tribe.net, and Facebook.com. This site will bring the freedom of speech back on foot. This site is called nothingbutdrama.com where life drama unfolds. Look for it soon. Changing the whole social network idea.

Review: Gee, I could have sworn the same thing was said about the "Information SuperHighway" now known as "The Web" or as an alternative "The Internet".In other words give it some time, which always tells and not always the perceived way.

Review: It's true, magazines like Businessweek and Forbes are always so out of touch with these buzz parts of the internet, that by the time they report on them, it's just laughable how stale the story is.

Review: Reminds me of the hype surrounding all sorts of startups in the late 1990s. I am wondering what type of revenue Facebook has. As a typical user, I don't think I clicked on the links more than 10 times, plus, most organizations send messages to their friends and friends of friends (through the social network) instead of actually purchasing "advertising" on the site. Additionally, there is very little third-party advertising, and even that is cheesy - like the Apple Group. Overall, I think it's mostly hype. If only they create a way to capitalize on the regular use of the site, as opposed to all of these gimmicks that are rarely used.

Review: I am pleased to see that corporate America has finally identified the value and popularity of social sites such as Facebook. I do, however, find it ironic that young adults throughout the U.S. could have written this article over a year ago.
