That way you can have a large voting public (rather than just a few hundred) and measure both great service and innovation at the same time across industry types?

Review: The six industry headings used are all very "human" focused. That is to say, innovation focused on products and services aimed at man. Next year, could we invite another catagory in the survey? One that recognizes award-winning innovation concerning stewardship of our Mother Earth? We need to move beyond only thinking of ourselves and our own consumption in considerations of what is good.

Review: I am very surprised that Texas Instruments did not make this list. Many of the companies listed would not have innovative products if it were not for TI's underlying technology innovations. Plus, anyone who has watched a feature film or played a high-graphics-quality video game using TI's DLP projection engines knows there is no better platform. It is the only digital video technology to win multiple Academy Awards and exclusive use at the award presentations for its quality.

Review: I don't see any large US money center banks in the financial services list. Is innovation dead in these firms?

Review: I don't know what was asked on the financial part of survey. Bank of America is a future "one stop does it all" for money services. It as the presence of the 800-pound gorilla. Though customer service will be a critial part of its success.
