Review: This is something I have done on my own. I have taken part time jobs in retail, as a firefighter, EMT, dispatcher, all things to balance me better. Since balancing my life this way, I have become one of the top managers in my company. Google is pretty easy to use. I just typed in Vocation Vacation and the top link was their Web site. http://www.google.com/search?q=vocation+vacation&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official

Review: It seems unlikely that this Vocation Vacations company would not have a Web site address in this day and age. For those not handy with Google, it seems like it should have been obvious to include a mention and/or link to their Web site in this article. In fact it seems like an obviously glaring omission leaving it out. Was it intentional, or just due to ignorance?

Review: Kudos to Kurth for coming up with such a fabulous concept! One of my favorite authors, Barbara Sher, writes about people she calls 'scanners' -- people who have so many professional and personal interests in life that they have trouble choosing which to pursue. Vocation Vacations provides the perfect vehicle for such individuals to investigate a wide variety of options and opportunities. As a scanner myself, though, I'm having some difficulty deciding where to start first...!

Review: I've been following this company for at least a year and while we haven't taken the plunge yet, I see both my husband and I doing this as we approach "retirement" from our current places of employment, transitioning into our next life stage.

Review: I read this article and was wondering how it applied to me, if it did. I currently moved to work for a new financial services firm. So, this would be considered my second professional job out of college. I do feel a bit of lacking in something I didn't expect. Believe it or not, it's not the people or the environment (at least not yet). I'm not quite sure what it is and it makes this job harder than I had anticipated. So when I saw this article, the other career I always had in mind was a cosmetologist. How do you get a contact # for Vocation Vacations Program?
