Review: Actual problems in Italian economy were not caused by Berlusconi, instead I can say he helped to ease and solve them. Italy needed reforms and new infrastructure to grow and during 5 years government investment in new infrastructures have grown to 73 bln euros from 7 of previous govern. New labor market law makes it easier to find job (unemployment rate is much lower than France and Germany), new pension law has been judged by EU commission one of the best 3. Obviously when you reform you can't grow, so it's a stupid analysis to say Berlusconi didn't make Italy economy to go up! When you heal problems you can't run. Under Prodi we'll become again a state run economy? Maybe but for sure no reforms will be
implemented by communist parties or unions to make economy more flexible or pension more age related.

Review: Thank you for an uninformed article.
In fact, in Italy it's legal for job specification to ask specifically for only young people and more often than not that is what they ask for.
More propaganda about more flexible easy conditions for labor hiring is not required. Well thought out sensible business plans, which will make money are needed. It's time for management to face up to its responsibilities. Significantly, in the EU ignorance over new and cheaper business information systems is stalling savings and giving money to Microsoft.
