Review: Diesel engines are pampered in Europe! Ceveloping countries like Pakistan have roads as the main ways of major commuter transportation, as train/rails are very limited. Diesel trucks, buses, cars made by many Japanese brands, including Toyota, have polluted and carbonised the cities, rural/urban skies. Mercedes engine should tell Japanese the taste of carbonless engine, and please stop polluting the developing world from carbon. email: interconnect.partner@gmail.com

Review: I cannot see why Mercedes would take such a risky step and insists upon imposing unwanted product in the Japanese market. In other words, isn't it easier for Mercedes to be "market oriented," to look for the market needs and then try to satisfy those needs, instead of pushing unpopular product (the diesel engine). Certainly, this will maximize the marketing effort needed with no guaranteed result. However, if Mercedes succeeded in convincing the Japanese consumer to change his negative perception about engine oil, this will place Mercedes as a product leader, because it will be the only provider of this kind of product.
