Review: A worker must prove himself as a worker and the CPE would have allowed that. If they prove to be good workers, they are likely to remain employed, but if they are average workers, maybe not. France needs to change its work ethic to remain the fifth richest country in the world. If it doesn't, the work will go elsewhere and France will receive less foreign investment. That = less jobs. More flexibility is needed, guys. The students have been selfish, and I know many who just wanted to skip class rather than being strongly against the CPE.

Review: General Strike May 1, 2006 United States Trucking Industry All trucks will stop, possibly for a week in California. The agricultural industry will also be completely shut down. Other industries are in the works. Somebody in BusinessWeek is already working on the story and has taken pictures of the Los Angeles harbor mobilizing. Mainstream media will be caught off gaurd, again. Ernesto Jesus Nevarez Port of Los Angeles

Review: "To a certain extent," notes Six, "It's the wrong kids marching in the street." This is mostly untrue. Anybody that go and ask for himself in a french university will know that there is : - a lot of students working. Those WILL be affected. - a lot of college drop-out. Those WILL be affected. - a lot of students stopping in L3 (around 21). Those WILL be affected. Furthermore, people in their 26-28 WILL be affected, being less desirable than 23-25. Finally, there is a LOT of high school students in the demonstrations. Will NONE of those high school student be affected ? I don't think so...
