Nickname: Gamer Researcher
Review: Mr. Longano obviously doesn't spend much time on gamer forums, or even playing games for that matter. Sure, gamers might not stop playing a game they just bought after seeing an ad for a real product. But that might certainly damage the brand in the long run. "Advertising enhances the sense of realism." What? People buy the latest graphics card to enhance realism, not advertising. And we play games to escape reality. Realism means different things for different people, in different contexts. On another note, I'd like to see his company try to fit an ad for a product in, say, a fantasy game. That would completely kill the gamer experience.
