Review: It's ironic that something as authentic as the Bodyshop, with a great cause and vision, ends up in the hands of an over-commercialised conglomerate. I've been an avid user of Bodyshop in the past and feel let down by Anita Roddick.

Review: If L'Oreal is not going to use the exclusive, higher-end retail network of Body Shop for its own product, I do not exactly see the magical strategic move here that benefits L'Oreal as a producer...it looks like a portfolio expantion or rather diversification to support financial revenues, rather than L'Oreal brands.

Review: Wow! L'Oreal really has a big appetite. The deal makes its products more diversified, adding the natural ones. And yah, L'Oreal could own the Body Shop's retail network. But, without changing the stock of Body Shop, does L'Oreal just want to strengthen the Body Shop brand and make it another way for money? Maybe, like buying Kiehl's and Shu Uemura?

Review: Looks like a great deal. L'Oreal should let Body Shop keep doing what it does well. Could there be a clash in culture?
