Review: One question...With the new VantageScore system, how will the increase in the top score from 850 to 990 affect a person's current standing? Example, current score of 782 was A rating, will now be C rating. Is this fair??? Or how are they dealing with this?

Review: Why not use both systems in conjunction with one-another? That way we can compare which is better, which is worse, and pull advantages from both?

Review: This will face an uphill battle. As someone who has worked in the lending industry I can tell you have a LOT of time and money invested in using FICO scores. Lenders would have to completely redo their guidelines and re-educate their workers, they won't be willing to do that unless this new scoring methodology can prove it does a much better job than FICO.

Review: Why do they charge for credit scores? That's just another way to extort money from consumers.

Review: The new system will be unuseable as each bureau will have different scores. The FICO uses a model which is reliable. A year from now this effort will be forgotten.

Review: You seem to have the lay of the land. Can you name a business that I could contact to help me raise my score by cleaning up prior "demerits" based on mis reporting or overemphasis on excusable payment mistakes, etc. In otherwords, an advocate for me in elevating my credit rating. Thanks.

Review: Interesting. I currently use FICO to access both my Credit Scores and my 3 Credit Reports. If VantageScore's program proves more convenient and superior, than good-bye FICO.
