Review: WEb 2.0 is quickly turning out to be a buzz word that is currently being bandied about - a lot of innovation is on - but what will succeed is when the end user votes to go ahead and use all those apps online - similar to apps on their desktops - the web browser is the only window required to complete all business tasks.

Review: Web2.0 is great for addressing the "desirability" issue. But on the Internet, content is still the king. This initial frenzy for Web2.0 will pass with time -- when people would expect this as the default. The plausible scenario for the future would be great content, plus great delivery.

Review: Great story.
The Writely example is just one of the interesting applications to show where Web 2.0 is taking the whole Web. One other interesting company to mention here is Zimbra, which offers a mail server and Web mail client combo. This mail is interfaced with Asterisk VoIP so, a Zimbra user having Asterisk softphone installed on their PC can make voice calls from the mail itself. It can interface to Yahoo maps or any AJAX supporting application.

Review: What we are seeing is the continuation of convergence between the desktop and the Internet. The use of new and existing technologies will allow the development of information and services that are aligned with the interests of the end-users. The four keywords are Localized | Personalized | Verticalized | Socialized.

Review: I would say AJAX is the hottest thing to master right now. It takes Web interface interaction to a whole new level. Soon everyone will be using it.

Review: There is a newly launched search engine named Xista.com. It's great, it offers free instant inclusion. It gives searchers more information about each of their results.
