Review: i think you can make your myspace safe, and you can also make your myspace unsafe, if you put your name, number, school, adress, etc.. then your asking for trouble. but by putting a nickname and not saying your last name, not putting any personal detail, not posting too many photos, and putting your myspace on private, its fine.. if you do all these things, how are people saying myspace is unsafe? no one will be able to find you, or contact you in any way. So the answer is that i really think you chose to make your (or your childs) profile safe. And i really think a perent should guide their child whilst making their profile.

Review: To my opinion, MySpace or any other social networking is not good for teenagers. You know that nearly 51% of all discussions taken place on myspace are about sex, drugs, and violence. Aweful!! That's why I don't allow my child to have My Space accounts. Also I constantly struggle with the balance of watching out for my kids when they go online. I even installed internet filter Ez Internet Timer http://www.internettimer.net. It helps me control online usage for my kids.

Review: I think myspace is one of the best things that could happen to internet. Children have something to do and create on there free time. If your stupid you will put your adress and phone number, thats just stupid and you must be asking for rape. But if you are smart you will use it to keep in touch with your friends, decorate a profile, and meet people from different cultures!

Review: I made a MySpace to see if my kids were staying safe on the internet.
For most part MySpace is OK.
Not all the teens are being so safe.
They are not my children.
Kids all over America are using MySpace, and so something needs to be done to make it safer.
The advertisements are not good. They are sexual and pornography. Also videos offered to children. There are links for children to decorate their page on myspace.com and http://www.pyzam.com/user
There are more pornographic images to put on your website.
They are trying to lure children into pornography.

Review: MySpace seems to be in the news a lot in regards to the dangers of the Internet. Hmmm. Is it perhaps because of the fact it is the 2nd most trafficked website on the Net. I don't exactly see all these "concerned parents" jumping down Xanga and Facebook's throats. The simple fact is this: MySpace does take privacy very seriously. ANY user of MySpace has the option of setting their profile to
"Private." Additionally, they can set up certain safeguards (such as not being contacted by anyone over 18, etc.) to make sure their identity is kept safe. Now, I don't necessarily disagree with parents over this MySpace privacy issues. Yes, of course, there is more ways you can make it safer. But, parents should also monitor their children's activities too before jumping the gun and blaming a corporation for it's problems. Why don't you blame the Internet Service Provider is a hacker steals your identity? You don't because it's not their fault. Neither is it MySpace's.
