Review: The war is over. I am disturbed by some of these comments. Vietnam is a great country. I am proud that relations between the two countries are in good standing, and also that Vietnam has come this far in attracting a great company to its soil.

Review: So what's the big deal? We lost far more men fighting the Japanese and Germans and they've been good pals since 1945. The Vietnam War, like WWII, is over. Let it stay over.

Review: I'm afraid I have to agree with Sandra. Those of us that were there in the war are still trying to get over what a slap in the face it was to pull out of a battle we should have won. Now another "how many " jobs will be sent there due to low wages of $55 a month!!! We need those jobs here in our own country. If not here at home, at least send them to one of our long time allies. Give me a break.

Review: The investment from Intel in this high tech field is very important for Vietnam and also investors. Vietnam proves itself an open market while investors see chance and trust when they decide to invest in Vietnam, a communist country.
As a Vietnamese, I feel happy and optimistic about the Vietnam economy. With the population of 84 million, more than 64% of which is young, this is a remarkable market.

Review: Oh yes, Vietnam's investment environment has been improved and creating lots of opportunities for investors, not only the big guy like Intel. Vietnam could be another tiger in Southeast Asia, faster if not following the China model (manufacturing plant of the world), but prioritizing high value-added industries which require quality labor force and know-how.
