Review: The chances of Vodafone, as big and slow as it is, moving quickly to get on track are very slim...

Review: Interesting article, although I think it would be more interesting if it reflected a more generalistic view about the global shifts in mobile communications. It's probably not a coincidence mobile operators are losing share in Japan, where VoIP phones are openly available. It seems these guys don't want to understand users are not fond of being charged for every message sent, every minute and every second as well as per kbit on each download size, especially when rates are not transparent. Will they be quick enough to realize a fixed rate is the way to go before wi-max goes widespread?

Review: Selling Verizon woud be the stupidest thing I have heard of. Selling this high growth company and paying taxes would not be smart. I think the British-based investors are just mad that a Brit isn't running the company.

Review: Vodafone has become a huge bureaucratic empire with a socialist-style central head that is absorbing too much energy to little benefit of the other parts of the body. A more distributed, flatter organization would allow Vodafone to compete better in the markets where it operates.

Review: Vodafone has been the market leader for a long time now. Its strategy to not sell its stake in Verizon seems to alright and in japan it needs to create a blue ocean stategy. All the best to Vodafone.
