Review: I don't understand how Judge Spencer "doesn't give a hoot about the USPTO activity." If the USPTO finds that the patent claims of NTP are invalid, what is this case about?

Review: Reexamination of the NTP patents is a major factor that should determine the course of justice. Should they be finally declared invalid, why should RIM pay at all?

Review: I believe the two parties should just create a profit-sharing agreement or a licensing agreement for the technology. RIM needs to pay NTP whatever infringement damages they owe and the two become partners in this venture. There are too many users who would be affected if BlackBerry's are shut down. NTP should think of the greater good and move on. What benefit would it be to NTP to displace all of the BB user's? This is an easy fix if NTP execs would just be reasonable.
