Review: I was very happy to see the article about gapminder.org. I agree with Dr. Rosling regarding the need for visually appealing and free interactive datasets that can help people learn about global inequalities. I think the animations included on the site are very thought provoking and I hope that where we see infant mortality decreasing, that trends like this refelct decreasing inequalities. However, aggregate numeric statsets, although obviously crucial, alone cannot tell the whole story about global inequalties. In addition, interactive access to a variety of data resources from a variety of disciplinary persecptives might help to assist in the learning process so that students and researchers are even more informed. A similar site, http://ucatlas.ucsc.edu, has begun to attempt to do something like this.

Review: This is a great visual solution. Another implementation could be an actual GAP program, which tracks the range of a species against areas of conservation in specific ecoregions.
