Review: It's true, it's true. Could have anyone imagined that a few years ago? The Web can already be made private with popular tools like www.Anonymouse.org so the government will have to reconsider it, if more people are using such services.

Review: "The government needs to monitor terrorists," is the position some people take on issues of privacy. Since the threat of terrorism can come from just about anywhere, the government will have to monitor everyone for this to be effective. I think it's totally absurd that our government, based on freedoms from these kinds of "Big Brother" type tactics, can use the actions of 20 suicidal fanatics to justify the monitoring of thousands, or possibly millions of its own citizens. Seems to me that our government shouldn't be so quick to criticize other countries on human rights issues if this is the direction we're taking.

Review: The government (especially the inept one run by George Bush Jr.) uses the excuse to spy on "terrorists," but that is just another lie from George Bush Jr. since those spied upon are Americans exercising their rights to call George Bush Jr. the liar he has shown himself to be.

Review: Google apparently hasn't shared with the government, but Yahoo, AOL, and MS did. Yes, some search queries were received, but it's even easier for them to get all of your connection history from your ISP. That type of gathering happens all the time, so it doesn't make the news. No, your web tracks aren't safe - but then again, have they ever been?
