Review: To think I was saving up so I could buy my first Jetta in cash!
Pfst, as much as I love Volkswagen they just lost a potential customer unless they come to their senses and bring the old jetta back from 2000 - 2004 :(

Review: As a driver of a Golf V (European version). I think the new Jetta looks very, very good. A lot of design details are taken from the Pheaton and the new (European) Passat, especially the tail, with LED backlights. Also cool: the coupe look. The boot is more than twice as big as a Golf and the chassis is the same as the Golf, so every corner is a party. No special need for ESP, it's handling is already safe. The quality should be ok, my Golf never had any problems (53.000 km).

Review: Clearly VW didn't use any US-based focus groups to comment on the new styling. I completely agree that this looks like a Corolla or any other low-end Japanese car. Furthermore, being an owner of a 2001 Passat and 1996 Golf before that, I would never own one again. I think I am turning Japanese!

Review: I own (and love) a '99 Jetta and was anxiously awaiting the redesigned model. I am extremely disappointed in the styling. It looks like a cheap Corolla. If I had to choose between the new Jetta and the Corolla, Toyota would win hands down.
