Review: I just purchased the 'enamel on steel' Michael Graves kettle. It looks great but has a serious and rather dangerous design flaw. Nomatter how carefully one pours the hot water from the kettle it dribbles in a steady stream down the underneath of the spout and onto the floor. I am talking about water that is almost boiling hot when it hits the floor or work surface. This excess spillage is caused by a design flaw in the spout (no channel to direct the water away from the kettle when pouring) Also, on the inside of the spout where the whistle fits there is a ridge designed to secure the whistle, but this ridge tends to interrupt the flow and causes it to run along the underneath of the spout. Because of this messy design flaw and the potential risk of scalding pets and kids, not to mention having to mop up every time I make a cuppa, I will be be returning this kettle to Target. Sincerely John
