Review: Please ask next time about care of customers and employees. The integration "playbook" should be reviewed to see how well they are doing on that front.

Review: Pre-merger AT&T employees have been suffering the effects of layoffs at upper management's hands for years. This is true for management and occupational employees. We have constantly lived from day to day wondering if when we showed up for work if we would still have a job. While pre-merger ATT/SBC employees both have something to give, we knew there would be more layoffs due to the duplication of jobs. As the next layoff announcement (2-21-06) approaches for the occupational, "m" should be pleased to know that there are pre-Merger AT&T employees on that list.

Review: When are they going to start laying off AT&T employees? They already fired 11,000 SBC employees - who bought who?

Review: If ATT's revenues were falling and they were going out of business, why did SBC lay off all of the legacy SBC people and not ATT's? ATT had the name but definitely not the talent. The company has taken a turn for the worse and has forgotten the people that helped put SBC in the position to purchase ATT. The ATT people I see in management and sales positions are far less competent than any SBC sales person. They still have the monopoly mindset and have an arrogance about them. SBC made a major mistake when it came to the new structure of the company. Many customers and employees are in for a tough future.

Review: All this talk is great about what the new AT&T, but what about the customers who still can't get your DSL? Will we ever be able to get DSL or the video network or are you going to concentrate in the urban areas only?
