Review: Excellent article there. After having read comments from others, I would like to invite all to revise Nortel's potential in growth. Although its reputation has been shattered by the past scandal, this company has solid ground and foundations and it is beginning to regain credibility among some of the world's top tech companies. If this was a casino, I would bet on Nortel without the need for a second opinion.

Review: Nortel up to $10 by October. And what kind of lawsuit? For what reason?

Review: If Mike and team can gain the trust and imaginations of the employees, Nortel will be OK. Employees are burned out and just plain tired with all the stress and constant change. Let's see what the GE-rola guys can do. The big disappointment is the lack of women in the exec cabinet and in places that make a difference. Women of talent and capabilities have been overlooked in the reorg.

Review: Now you're speculating. Nortel is still Canada's biggest company. The Canadian goverment would never allow a hostile takeover to occur. They would back Nortel with all the money and power they could arrange.

Review: How can the article predict that Nortel will double earnings in 2006 (to $1.1 billion) when Nortel's 2005 earnings numbers have not been released?

Review: Dear Olga, I wish you would have mentioned that Lucent and Nortel do not compete in the telephony market any more. Back in 2000, Lucent spun off Avaya, which sells all of the legacy and IP telephony equipment. Lucent now sells Internet infrastructure and wireless operations equipment. I would be interested to hear your opinion about the success of Avaya since the tech bust and the lackluster performance of Nortel.

Review: The shell game at Lucent will soon be exposed. The provider industry does not expect them to last in the long term.

Review: Are you kidding me? What a biased and selective article. Nortel has a major lawsuit coming due soon. Can they get refinancing? They are in danger of a major cash crunch soon. Huge share dilution is almost a certainty and any forward earnings projections for this company are laughable. This is the fourth CEO in the past 5 years and all have been proclaimed as great turnout artists. Why didn't we hear comments from Paul Sagawa or Steve Levy. I am sure the Nortel story would have sounded far more bleak.

Review: Olga, I enjoyed the Nortel article. If Nortel returned to profit, what is a reasonably expected stock price high?

Review: Both stocks could be good for the long haul. This is a beautiful article. Great
