Review: As a telecom veteran, when I was bounced out of my ops manager slot in 2002 I started my own business. I had many years in the trenches prior to my stint in management. VoIP was the "in" thing then, but the time was wrong in the industry. I was content and have been successful selling traditional telecom services. Now it is out there. Sometimes we undervalue the training we got as a perk with our old jobs. It isn't cheap, but it looks like now is a good time for small shop service providers to become very familiar with VoIP. I have lost customers. Getting experience with this technology will get you new ones.

Review: I want to know when these companies are going to hire displaced workers? Workers that were in telecom for 27 years and now have nothing?

Review: Various tools are available in the market for collaboration, but it is important for corporations like Tello to ponder over the fact of having users to download client software.
The direction to move forward should be towards building real-time collaboration tools over the Internet.

Review: The problem is the "general public" does not understand presence. To be present to most is that I can be reached on my cell phone (as someone already mentioned). That may not be the right way to contact me, though. (Most of the time it is not). McCaw get's it. Heck he built not one, but several empires with "it".

Review: Instant communication with Treo650 or Treo700W is now possible, even if the other party isn't online. Just use SMS. E-mail is already a retro concept and is rather used to avoid any instant communication! Tello is a good concept, but Microsoft may kill it via WinMob Live Meeting application.

Review: So it means that Tello will use IM. And Microsoft will use MSN for more VoIP. But isn't it that at this moment, MSN has more users than IM? Especially international users?
So does it mean that after some time, Microsoft will win this because MSN has more (international like Europe and Asia) users?
